Summer Henschel

Dr. Summer Henschel joins the practice in 2024. She grew up east of Lake Winnebago and now resides in Dodge County. Dr. Henschel completed her undergraduate degree in dairy science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She spent four more years in Madison, where she graduated from the UW School of Veterinary Medicine in 2024.

Dr. Henschel loves that being a veterinarian allows her to work with a wide variety of animals. While she has a strong background in dairy cattle, gained from dairy exhibiting and working on farms, her family’s hobby farm includes goats, sheep, beef cattle, pigs, and lots of birds (including peafowl!).

Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Henschel enjoys working in the garden and on the house. She also loves spending time with her family and their many animals, especially their Red Heeler, Cookie, and Fainting Goat, Clyde.
